- Visit us
After you have expressed interest in our school, we will be in touch soon to arrange a school visit for parents without children. The aim of the meeting is to answer your questions, present the school, its premises and program. At the same time, you will see if our offer meets your expectations. If it fits the children's daily schedule, you will have the opportunity to meet with teachers, to have a look in the classrooms and to get to know the way we teach. You will learn more about the principles of Montessori pedagogy and the values on which we build education for children. You will receive additional materials and a parent handbook by email before the meeting. We recommend that you read the handbook before the personal meeting. If you have questions before the meeting, we will be happy to answer them by email. - We cannot avoid paperwork
If you would like to register your child at Duhovka, please submit your application enclosed below (after downloading you can edit the document).
We will send you a preview of the contract with other documents to complete and arrange a meeting with you for your signature. By signing the contract, you commit to the payment of one month’s tuition. When admitting your child to the preschool, we will together agree on the program of your child’s attendance including meals.
On this occasion, you will also need to provide a completed child's registration form with confirmation from your pediatrician of proper vaccination and ability to take the child into the nursery school. We can only accept a child who has undergone regular vaccinations (according to the Czech Republic's vaccination calendar), has a certificate verifying that they are immune to the given infectious diseases or cannot be vaccinated due to a permanent contraindication.
The admission of a child with special medical needs is decided upon by the Director of the Preschool at the request of a legal representative, the statement of a physician, a special pedagogical center or a pedagogical psychological counseling center.
