Our online support for families functions as a source for ideas and helpful suggestions which support the many practical activities children do at home. We also know it is important to maintain relationships and bonds with class teachers and friends until such time that we are reunited in our classrooms.
Aside from the regular sharing of content including videos, class teachers are answering questions, providing solutions and support with consideration for learning differences and behavioural challenges. Our speech therapists and psychologists are also available for individual consultation.
During a typical preschool day, children engage in realistic activities, using and stimulating their senses as much as possible. We recognize the children’s need for movement, gross and fine motor and the importance of coordination and balance. All skills that are hard to develop using most online activities and worksheets. We are working to provide our students and their families with quality, meaningful and engaging online support, resources and video content.
Keep checking our Facebook posts for recommendations from our teachers.
